In June 2018, SIP Lvse Jiangnan Public Environment Concerned Centre (hereinafter referred to as “PECC”) received a report from a resident of the Suzhou High-tech Zone, claiming that CNNC Sufa Technology Industry Co., Ltd. had irregularities in the storage of hazardous wastes.
On June 19th, 2018, researchers from PECC found that CNNC Sufa Technology Industry Co., Ltd. located at No. 178 Anyang Road in Hushuguan Town, High-tech Zone, Suzhou City, had suspected irregular disposal of hazardous wastes (waste oil). The specific location is shown in Figure 1.

Researchers found that the suspected hazardous wastes (waste oil) and unidentified garbage were stacked in the northeast corner of CNNC Sufa Technology Industry Co., Ltd. This place is between the factory’s fence and the factory’s wall. The walls are also already black. The on-site situation is shown in Figure 3-1 and 3-2.

On the same day (June 19th, 2018), PECC submitted the “Research Report on Environmental Problems of Enterprises in Hushuguan Town, Suzhou High-tech Zone” to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Suzhou High-tech Zone.
On July 5th, 2018, PECC received a written reply from the Environmental Monitoring Brigade of Suzhou New District. The specific reply is shown in Figure 4.
